Vaultera Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 10, 2026
Vaultera is a local-first home inventory and asset tracking app. We do not require you to create an account to use core inventory features.
The App stores locally on your phone or tablet:
- Rooms, items, categories, estimated values, serial numbers, notes, and ownership flags
- Photos you attach to items
- App preferences such as theme
- Purchase entitlement status provided by the app stores / RevenueCat SDK on device
This data stays on your device unless you export it, share a report or backup, or use a feature that sends data off-device as described below.
- AI Photo Scanner: If you tap Analyze with AI, the selected image and a text prompt are sent to Google Gemini (or a comparable AI API) to generate suggested fields. Do not scan photos you do not want processed by that service.
- Purchases: In-app purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play and validated with RevenueCat using store purchase tokens. We do not receive your full payment card number.
- Feedback: If you submit Feedback in Settings, your message and email are sent to our Formspree endpoint so we can respond and improve the App.
- Exports and backups: If you export CSV/PDF or create a backup ZIP, you choose where to share or save those files. Those destinations are outside our control.
3. Analytics and advertising
The App does not include third-party advertising SDKs. We do not sell your personal inventory data.
4. Children
Vaultera is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). Do not use the App if you are under that age.
5. Data retention
Local inventory remains until you delete items or uninstall the App. Feedback submissions are retained as needed to respond and improve the product. Store purchase records are retained by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat under their policies.
6. Your choices
- Review and delete inventory items and photos in the App
- Decline AI analysis by not using Analyze with AI
- Control backups and exports yourself
- Restore or manage purchases through your app store account
- Contact us via Feedback in Settings
